Love for one another
Time with friends and family
Hugging sister and brother
Remembering folks who are needy

Wonders of Thanksgiving Day
Touches deep our soul
Generosity its mainstay
With thanks to God alone

It is His bountiful blessing
That we celebrate
Not just turkey and dressing
Or, a full holiday plate

Lift up your eyes to heaven
Let selfishness depart
Rejoice in all God’s given
With a grateful heart
