Summer burst Blaze of sun Temps rising Pool splashing fun Water the lawn Pull those weeds Enjoy the flowers Stifle a sneeze Grab a hat Sunblock too Bar-B-Que party Just me and you Memory treasures All heaven sent Life's little pleasures God's gifts evident

Rocking in my garden chair
Kitty comes to visit
Day is breezy and fair
Spring has burst it’s prison
Rhaphiolepis lift up pink heads
Orange trees are in bloom
Green sprouts dot new flower beds
Flying bugs dart and zoom
Sunshine fills a cloudless sky
My heart warms from within
God’s faithfulness to you and I
His gifts abound despite our sin
Such beauty all around
Every day a new adventure
Stunning views, colors astound
His love pours out of nature
Join me in His greenery
Among the swaying trees
Breathe in His lavish scenery
Sit humbly at His knees.
