Jubilant!

As I sat with the Lord in prayer, I heard this in my heart…

Come as a child, a daughter
Come hear from your Father
Receive rest for your soul
My love making you whole

Come into My Presence
Sit with Me, feel My essence
At ease, unashamed, sharing
Saturated with My caring

Come trust Me with your heart
My healing hits the mark
Let’s dance and rejoice
Laugh, daughter, lift up your voice!

Come, untangle from the worldly sea
Enjoy life’s journey with Me!
Cares of this world unimportant
You and Me, Child, JUBILANT!

Be thankful

In prayer I heard this poem…

Be thankful, My child
To Me you’re beautiful
Let’s talk for awhile
Your life is plentiful

Lift up praises
Let gratitude overflow
I’ve given Graces
Rejoice, don’t feel low

Effusively worship
Thanksgiving burst forth
Dance in My Courtship
Receive My comfort

Stop the complaining
How blessed you are!
Look, stop searching
I’m here; not far!

All you need
Deepest desires
Are found in Me
My love’s fires

Be thankful
Take time
Grateful, be grateful
You’re Mine; all Mine!

Pink!

It’s a beautiful rose
Color of a kitten’s nose
Precious lips of a babe
Tingling skin after a shave

Big wad of bubble gum
cheeks after too much sun
Glitter on fingernails
Pretty lacy curtain veils

Sky radiant at sunset
Piping on a bassinet
Flamingo on one leg standing
Happy puppy tongue panting

Fuzzy wuzzy circus bear
Cotton candy at a fair
Newly born piglet
Watermelon at a picnic

Little girl hair bows
Tulips planted all in rows
Warm glow of Mom’s cheeks
Soft words that she speaks

Dad’s strong yet gentle hug
Jesus’ heart full of love
Prayers going up to heaven
Knowing that I’m forgiven

Falling in a hammock of grace
This is the blessing place!

The Only Way

Amazing sacrifice.
Laid down His life.
Shed all His blood.
Forgiveness flood.

Died for me;
Set me free.
Died for you.
Set you free too.

Without His blood
No healing flood
No hope in sin
Only dark din.

Arose from death.
Broke grave’s abyss.
Shattered Hell’s hold.
Gained glorious gold.

Ripped heaven’s veil.
Love never fails.
Father’s mercy abounds.
Grace simply astounds.

Ascended on a cloud.
Rejoicing, bold, loud.
At Father’s right side.
Ready to bless His Bride.

Poured out fervent fire
Holy Spirit power.
Transformed hearts and minds.
His JOY now resounds

I’m heaven-bound.
Glory is my gown.
How ’bout you?
Is He your Savior too?

I Am…

I’m sad today.
I am your Joy!
I’m tired today.
I am your Strength!

I’m scared today.
I am your Shield!
I’m sick today.
I am your Healer!

I’ve been slandered today.
I am your Defender!
I’ve failed today.
I am your Second Chance!

I’m lonely today.
I am closer than a brother!
I’m broke today.
I am your Provider!

I’m so worried today.
I am your Peace!
I’m grieving today.
I am your Comforter!

I’m very angry today.
I am your Counselor!
I’m homeless today.
I am your Shelter!

I’m abandoned today.
I am your Father!
I’ve lost everything.
I am your Everything!

There is no situation I cannot handle today.
No emotional problem is too hard for Me.
The issue is really what you always say.
Proclaim My promises and wonderful answers you will see!

Prayer Flight

FlyingPerson

I love the quiet of the morning
And the late late hours of night.
A time with my God I am soaring.
He takes me in prayer to glorious height.

Moments I can see His Kingdom –
Expansive! Magnificent! So Bright!
Gentle touches out of heaven,
Healing my heart, enriching my sight.

No other can compare to Him.
He’s perfect, just, and right.
His beauty makes this world dim.
All around Him glowing light.

I want to fly in prayer all night
But, I am whisked away by sleep
Or, noises put up distracting fight
That shorten my joyous treat.

Still, I know next quiet time,
I have an appointment; kept with delight:
A prayer flight in glory sublime
With my Father God I will unite.

Smiling up at God

Eternity unfolded..
Shock! Awe! Overwhelmed. Fright.
Majestic waves – Golden.
Brilliant splashing Light.

No bottom.
No top.
No end.
No beginning.

Forever rushed by.
Peace flowed; steady River.
Wondered, “Where am I?”
Then I saw the Giver.

Holy!
Glorious!
Purity!
Loveliness!

Collapsed before Him —
My heart stopped beating.
Love’s touch. Life rushed in!
Breath of God – Healing.

Embraced!
Joy!
Tears!
Mercy, no fear!

Not sure from where,
Loud noise sounded.
Suddenly felt my chair.
Sat there — simply astounded.

Garden breeze.
Sunshine.
Home.
Smiling up at God.

Lovely

The glorious scenery of Milford Sound

Lovely…
No, lovelier than that.
Roses, or…
Maybe, delicate lace?

Lavender.
Sweet fragrance.
Sparkling dew upon the grass.
Butterfly.

Cloud wisps;
Perfect white.
No. Lovelier!
Perhaps clear blue sky.

Intricate snowflakes;
A blanket of frosty ice.
Lovelier than even that.
Pristine lake?

Sunset, sunrise.
Close…
Majestic mountains.
Hills emerald green.

Clear eyes of a child;
The smile of a babe.
Closer…
But, not that.

Hard to describe the thought of God.
Holy purity.
His beauty and majesty.
His grace toward me.

His goodness.
His face.
His touch…
Lovely!

I Have Roses for You

rose with dew

I have roses for you.
Here in My Hand are lovely blooms.
The petals are dripping with dew.
The fragrance fills your heart’s rooms.

Soft colors to please your eyes.
Gentle breezes to cool and refresh.
Clouds dancing in crystal blue skies.
Take from My Hand roses of rest.

I have Roses for you from above.
With their fragrant oil you are sealed.
Step into chambers filled with My Love.
Take this gift and be healed.

It’s Your Love

What is it that shines brightly and overcomes all darkness?
It’s Your Love!

What is it that floods me with peace in the midst of the storm?
It’s Your Love!

What is it that fills me with joy even in difficult circumstance?
It’s Your Love!

What is it that illuminates my mind with Truth?
It’s Your Love!

What is it that overflows my heart with compassion for unloveable folk?
It’s Your Love!

What is it that lights up the way I should go?
It’s Your Love!

What is this zeal and passion I feel?
It is Your amazing, everlasting, abiding, unconditional Love!

Let me be radiant with Your Love, Lord… with Your Love.
Amen.
