In Him, I Win
It’s morning
Sunrise was golden peach
Still I’m frowning
Incessant pain’s no treat
Though days are lovely
They are hard
Surrounded by beauty
Can’t enjoy it, I’m marred
Shed lots of tears
Begged God for healing
Lived in fears
Emotions reeling
It’s hard to trust
That God has a plan
But, trust Him I must
So little help from man
Another day dawn
Hope on the horizon
He’s keeping me strong
My heart beats on
Out of the blue
Peace encompassed me
Jesus’ love sure and true
Poured out bountifully
I won’t give up
Nor will I give in
My God holds me up
In HIM I win!
