Sunrise

Rays of golden fringed pink
Breakthrough the darkest blue
Stars fade managing a last twink
The sky transforms, now a radiant hue

Still the source is hidden
Creation holds its breath
There! The sun fills the horizon
A promise of hope is birthed

The love of God envelopes earth
His peace fills accepting hearts
Look up and know your worth
Each dawn is for your restart

Black night now gone
The breeze refreshing and fair
Listen to the bird song
Rejoice, your New Day is here!

Resurrection Power!

jesus_lazarus_resurrection

I was meditating on Scripture out of John Chapter 11 and the story of Jesus hearing the news that His friend Lazarus was dying. Despite the emergency, He held off and didn’t go immediately to his friend’s bedside. In fact, Jesus waited 4 days. Of course, He could have instantly healed his friend, but the Father, whom Jesus always listened to, had a greater miracle in mind and Jesus was held back for the great glory of God. Healing was good, but the Father wanted to demonstrate a miracle of love and raise up Lazarus from the dead.

This is the poem I heard from the Holy Spirit after reading these verses:

It’s hard to wait, but just believe, don’t doubt!
No matter how hopeless it all seems, refuse to pout.
Listen to Jesus when dreams die, He knows all that you need.
Stand strong in faith and His Word always heed.

Even if you think your life is bad and all hope is dead
That everything stinks and you’re just plain sad
Jesus says, “Roll the stone of doubt away!
Only believe! Listen to what I say!

My heart is to raise what’s dead and give it life
To pour out peace in the midst of strife.
My love covers all matters of sin.
You stand in My Glory, as My Bride you win!

Come Forth! Come Forth, every promise that is dead!
Receive healing for every tear you have shed.
Now, in resurrection power go forth for Me.
My Real Love and miracles the world needs to see.
